Isla Home Watch & Services specializes in the care and security of second homes, vacation homes, and investment properties for absentee homeowners. We do a visual checkup of your home looking for obvious issues along with offering additional services.
ABOUT US
We have owned our condo on beautiful Isla Del Sol since 1993 and have lived here full time since 2016. We are currently licensed Real Estate Agents working here on Isla Del Sol giving us extensive knowledge of our Isla communities which we are involved in and committed to.
As we live and work here on Isla Del Sol, we find that so many of our neighbors that are absent for long periods of time would like someone to check on their home to give them peace of mind while away.
We hope to grow our business by earning the trust of our customers through our work ethics and attention to detail.
SERVICES
BASIC SERVICE PLAN
Our Basic Service Plan would include a visit to your home twice a month to perform a visual check. This checkup will be followed up with a report of our findings emailed to you along with photos of any issues or concerns discovered, giving fast response to issues before they become problems. We can assist in facilitating corrective action as instructed. Our checklist can be customized to accommodate your particular needs.
Items that we will check on include:
- Check Thermostat for proper setting and A/C operation
- Check for obvious water leaks from water heater, plumbing, air handler, appliances, ceiling, windows and doors
- Run faucets in sinks, tubs, showers and flush toilets (If water is left on in your absence)
- Verify all windows and doors are secured with no obvious damage
- Confirm no evidence of pests, insects or rodents
- Visual check of overall condition of each room
- Check for proper operation of refrigerator, freezer and water heater
2 times a month visit – $99 per month
1 time per month visit – $60 per month
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
In addition to our Basic Service Plan, we offer the following additional services to help you manage the care of your home to ensure the enjoyment of your time here on Isla Del Sol.
- STORM PREPARATION – Bring in any outdoor patio furniture, close hurricane shutters and verify all windows and doors are secured
- POST STORM CHECK – Check on your home after a major storm and send an email with photos of any damage to mitigate further problems
- VENDOR ACCESS – Meet service technicians to gain entry to your home, stay while work is being done, take photos of work and lock up afterwards
- MAIL / DELIVERIES – Take in expected mail or receive deliveries at your home to secure them inside
- VEHICLES – Start vehicles left on property and run for a period of time to circulate fluids and charge battery. Includes visual exterior check of overall condition
- PRE-ARRIVAL – Open your home which may include; turning on water and water heater, set thermostat, put out patio furniture, open hurricane shutters, arrange for house cleaning, shop for groceries needed on arrival
- POST-DEPARTURE – Close home which may include turning off water and water heater, set thermostat, put in patio furniture, close hurricane shutters, arrange for house cleaning, remove perishable items from refrigerator, counters, etc.
- CUSTOM SERVICE – Individually defined based on specific home needs
These additional services are offered on a per/hour basis and can be customized to meet individual needs
